It started as an idea, we completed it with words and discussions and somehow we are now here to invite you to talk with us about design on Sunday, 24th January, 2 pm, at Greek Graphic Designers Association, Myllerou 19 Metaxourgeio.

Προσπαθήσαμε να βρούμε κάτι που να μπορεί να φέρει πολλές οπτικές στο τραπέζι που δεν αφορούν μόνο τους γραφίστες αλλά και τους συνεργάτες τους στην κατανόηση της δουλειάς του γραφίστα.

Ο νέος χρόνος μας βρήκε γλυκά και δυνατά. Αρχικά ανακοινώσαμε το Jelly 13, μετά μας πρόδωσαν τα ιντερνέτια και η τεχνολογία, μετά το ακυρώσαμε. Τι συνέβει;
Ας ξεκινήσουμε με το πως σκεφτήκαμε το Jelly 13- brunch. Ήταν μια ιδέα που τέθηκε σε έναν κυριακάτικο απογευματινό καφέ με παρεϊστική διάθεση.
Σε άλλες πόλεις, κυρίως στις ΗΠΑ, το Jelly γίνεται και σε σπίτια. Ήταν η δεύτερη φορά που το προσπαθήσαμε αλλά όπως και το σκεφτείς άλλο σπίτι και άλλο κάποιο καφέ ή γραφείο. Πολλοί δεν αισθάνονται άνετα να πάνε σε σπίτι ενός άγνωστου ή απλά γνωστού και είναι απόλυτα σεβαστό αυτό. Άσχετα, αν σαν Κωνσταντίνα το βλέπω διαφορετικά, το σέβομαι όμως.
The new year started in sweet and strong way. First we announced Jelly 13, then we faced an issue with web and technology and then we cancelled the event. What happened?
Let’s start with how we thought about Jelly 13, the brunch. It was an idea that came on the table on a Sunday afternoon during a friendly coffee chat. It is true that in other cities, especially in thee U.S., Jelly takes also place in homes. This time was our second approach to do so, but there is a difference between organizing an event like this at ones house or in a coffee shop or office. Some may not feel that comfortable about going to a home of a stranger, which is respected and understood. Regardless, if I see it differently as Konstantina different, but I still respect it.
Την πρώτη φορά την περασμένη άνοιξη, έπρεπε να αλλάξουμε το μέρος συνάντησης για προσωπικούς λόγους. Καταφέραμε σχετικά γρήγορα να ανακοινώσουμε την αλλαγή της τοποθεσίας. Λίγο ταραχή μεν, αλλά τέλος καλά, όλα καλά. Από λάθος δικό μου σε θέματα οργάνωσης και σφαλμένης εντύπωσης, έπρεπε να ακυρωθεί αυτή την φορά. Δυστυχώς δεν είχα την δυνατότητα για άλλο χώρο. Εφόσον είχαμε ανακοινώσει brunch, ήθελα και να το προσφέρουμε σαν λίγο πιο ζεστό ξεκίνημα της νέας χρονιάς.
Σας ζητώ συγνώμη, αν αναστατώσαμε με αυτό τον τρόπο τα σχέδια σας για αυτό το Σαββατοκύριακο και σας υποσχόμαστε ότι θα προσπαθήσουμε να βελτιώσουμε το οργανωτικό κομμάτι περισσότερο.
The first time, last spring, we had to change location due to personal reasons. We announced, somehow quickly, the current change of the location. A little excitement, but finally everything was fine. Something like that happened now. The mistake is mine, because I misjudged some issues of organization. Unfortunately, this time, we had not the opportunity to adapt in the same way in order to find another location. Since we announced a brunch, with the thought to welcome in a warmer way the new year, we wanted to offer it. We could not, that is why the event was cancelled.
I apologize if this cause disorder to your plans for this weekend and if it disturbed you in any way. You have our promise that we will try to improve the organizing part more.

Παιδιά, καλωσορίζουμε το 2010 με πρωινό – brunch, την Κυριακή 10 Ιανουαρίου, κατά την μια το μεσημέρι για να έχουμε ξυπνήσει όλοι από τα ξενύχτια του Σαββάτου. Όποιος δεν έχει ξυπνήσει ως τότε, έρχεται στην παρέα μας λίγο αργότερα.
We are welcoming 2010 with breakfast-brunch, on Sunday 10th January,1 p.m. Hope all of you will be awake and if not you can join us later.
Η περίσταση απαιτεί μια αίσθηση από “σπίτι”. Γι΄αυτό τον λόγο θα μαζευτούμε και σε φιλικό σπίτι.
